BELLAVISTA
BRAND IDENTITY
THE BRIEF
Founded in 2015 in the scenic Santa Clara Valley, Bellavista Vineyards is the vision of Marco, an Italian winemaker from Tuscany, and Éloise, a French viticulturist from Bordeaux. After meeting at a wine festival in Paris, they merged their expertise to create a vineyard that blends Italian and French winemaking traditions.
Bellavista cultivates Zinfandel, Sangiovese, and Merlot using sustainable practices, crafting wines that embody both heritage and innovation. Each bottle tells a story of collaboration, passion, and craftsmanship, offering a taste of Italy and France in California.
This branding project was a collaborative effort, integrating student-made typefaces: Grand Vin by Bailey Dewald, Poste Italiane by myself, and Zinfandel by Ellie Gramm. The design merges Italian and French influences, with a full typographic lockup enhanced by Art Nouveau-inspired embellishments.
My role included web development, branding, case study research, and creating unique touchpoints. The result is a refined brand identity that honors Bellavista’s European roots while celebrating the artistry of winemaking.
